• Waitlist Information: When you join the waitlist, we collect your full name and email address (plus your explicit acceptance of our Privacy and Data Collection policies). This data is stored in our Supabase database.
• Contact Information: For support inquiries we use direct email (mailto links). Any emails you send us are received via our email provider (Resend).
• Technical Data: We may collect standard web analytics such as browser type, device information, and pages visited (if analytics tools are added in the future).
• Cookies: We use minimal cookies for essential functionality (e.g., form state). No advertising or tracking cookies are used at this time.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide you early access and updates about Snap AI.
• To communicate with you about your waitlist status or respond to inquiries.
• To improve our product and website experience.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Storage and Security

Waitlist data (including policy acceptance) is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL). Supabase provides strong security including encryption at rest and in transit. We follow industry best practices and enable Row Level Security (RLS) where appropriate.

Support inquiries sent via email are handled through Resend and standard email. We do not store submitted form data on the website itself.

4. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

If you are located in the European Union (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have specific rights:

• Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to Rectification: Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”): Request deletion of your personal data.
• Right to Restrict Processing / Opt-Out: Object to or limit certain uses of your data.
• CCPA Specific: You have the right to know what personal information is collected, used, and disclosed. You may request deletion and opt out of any “sale” of personal information (we do not sell data).

Waitlist entries are retained until you request deletion or until the service is launched and accounts are created (at which point data may be migrated to an authenticated user profile). You can request deletion at any time.

6. Third-Party Services

• Supabase — Database hosting (waitlist storage)
• Resend — Transactional email delivery
• Vercel — Hosting and deployment infrastructure

These providers process data only as needed to deliver their services and are bound by strict data processing agreements.

7. Children’s Privacy

Snap AI is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version. Material changes will be communicated via email to waitlist members.
